"A Nickel Cost A Dime" - Romney/Ryan Theme Song

"A Nickel Cost A Dime"

Lyrics and song performed by Chris Seefried.

Gnome Alone
________________________________________________________________________________

A good friend of mine wrote this song and when I heard it I thought it perfectly summarizes the Romney/Ryan campaign.  Chris Seefried was inspired to write the song about Paul Ryan and his total lack of empathy for anyone (but himself).

ITunes link to the song is (HERE).

  1. Great lyrics. It reminds me of a Tracy Chapman song.

  2. This song sounds like all the poor misguided Americans who believe in their faith, so when bible pushers like Bush, Bachmann & Ryan lie to them, they just can't see it. They think because they have a shared faith they won't see they are being used. These people vote against their own best interest because they are lied to by the GOP saying they are job creators. "Creators" is a manipulative word GOP uses to evoke thoughts of GOD the Creator. Paul Ryan lives by the teachings of Jesus just about as much as do the Kardashians.

  3. What a great anthem for those who don't have things so easy in life. Not all of the poor are lazy.

    Did Romney and Ryan miss this lesson in sunday school classes?

    These are the words of their " savior." !

    ""Whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers, that you do unto me.

    When I was hungry, you gave me to eat;

    When I was thirsty, you gave me to drink.

    Now enter into the home of My Father.

    Whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers, that you do unto me.

    When I was homeless, you opened your door;

    When I was naked, you gave me your coat.

    Now enter into the home of My Father.

    Whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers, that you do unto me.

    When I was weary, you helped me find rest.

    When I was anxious, you calmed all my fears.

    Now enter into the home of My Father.

    Whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers, that you do unto me."

  4. Cool tune! Is this artist performing live anywhere? Anyone know where he is based? Song as a country western vibe. Not my genre usually but I dig this song. The words has an impact on me. I lost my insurance with my job 2 months ago. I have interviewed for twelve jobs since being let go. I've applied for over 240 jobs that i'm over qualified for but more than willing to take. I guess Romney would lump me in with the 47%. Fuck you Romney. Sick of America!

  5. The songs lyrics are spot on. It captures the pain and suffering so many people have been hit with as a result from wall street banksters.
