Jesus as Commander in Chief

Comparing war with the crucifixion of Jesus is tantamount to a sacrilege!

One is about pure love the other is about killing. The teachings of this man, "Jesus" are about PEACE not WAR!

Wars fought in the name of religion are usually the most barbaric.  Consider the Crusade.

War is not the idealized depiction that one sees from World War II.

Can anyone truly say that those invaded in Iraq are now living in peace?

Wars today are mostly fought by the underprivileged - members of our society who are exploited by the government to help impose political and religious ideologies.

How many among you reading this diatribe have sons or daughters fighting, “So others may live and dwell in peace, happiness and freedom.”

It is pathetic people are using religion to justify wars.

Jesus was all about peace.

If there is a “heavenly father”…I can’t imagine he’d believe war is the way to peace.
